7.11. | Sustainable Development as a Task for Humanity

RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer will participate in a roundtable discussion on November 7th on the topic of “Transformation only works together.” Kathrin will talk with Tanja Gönner, Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of German Industries, Katrin Göring-Eckardt, Vice President of the German Bundestag and Antje von Broock, Federal Executive Director of BUND e.V..

The discussion will take place as part of the specialist conference “Sustainable Development as a Task for Humanity”, an honorary event to mark Klaus Töpfer’s 85th birthday in Berlin. He and Kathrin Goldammer worked together from 2012 to 2013 at the former IASS Potsdam and were already active as a mediation team in international energy conflicts. On top of that Klaus Töpfer has worked on environmental issues and sustainable development for decades. The Konrad Adenauer Foundation would therefore like to honour him for his life’s work on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

The conference will take place between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. The round table discussion will start at 6:55 pm.
