Batuhan Sanli had been a student assistant in the Research Unit Transformation of Energy System at RLI from February 2022 until May 2023. He was enrolled in the master's degree program Renewable Energy Systems at Ingolstadt University of Applied Science. In context of his work for the eGon project, he was writing a master's thesis on flexibilities in the distribution grid.

Batuhan holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University Istanbul. He wrote his bachelor’s thesis on DC brushless machines used in wind turbines. Apart from his work at RLI, he also worked as a working student in the area of large-scale battery systems at BASF New Business GmbH.
