RLI will participate in the annual meeting of the Research Network Energy System Analysis. Editha Kötter, researcher in the RLI research field Transformation of Energy Systems, and Team Head Berit Müller will each chair a workshop. Editha will be in charge of the workshop on the issue of integrating infrastructure into energy system models, in Berit’s workshop on transparency, the participants will outline a manual for increasing transparency in energy system analysis. Further RLI team members will contribute their expertise in the workshops organized by the working groups “Data, “Stakeholder Behavior”, and “Complex Models”.
The meeting is organized and hosted by Projektträger Jülich on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The Network Energy System Analysis has been founded by BMWi to promote the research field and connect all involved parties. Another goal is to make the modeling projects more transparent.
